It's been another profitable year but ended disappointingly with the heavy rains in August washing out the Ebor meeting & with the ground so soft I almost stopped betting. It might have taken me a while, but I have finally realised that flat & jump racing are two different sports & that I'm a successful bettor at one & not the other & that is why there have been so few bets this jumps season. However I have kept me eye in & listed below are a dozen young horses who have impressed me & should be worth following when conditions are in their favour over the next year or so:
